Meeting Overview —

The ITECA ASQA Regulated Provider Group allows you to keep up to date with the compliance obligations of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

The regulatory framework enforced by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) can be daunting.  The great thing is that there is a network of professionals in the independent higher education sector that share your interests and that you can collaborate with.

The ITECA ASQA Regulated Provider Interest Group meets monthly and allows you to together in order to use the shared knowledge that exists across the sector to strengthen your understanding of the ASQA’s regulatory framework.
Meeting Focus —
ITECA ASQA Regulated Provider Group Meeting

At this meeting ITECA members will head from senior staff about the new 2020-22 ASQA Regulatory Strategy that has a focus on online learning, VET in schools in addition to trainer and assessor capability.

Fund out about what this means for independent Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), especially at the time of an audit.

ITECA and ASQA enjoy a strong working relationship, strengthened through a formal agreement, that sees ASQA staff attend these meetings, giving you direct access to those able answer any questions that you have.

Importantly, at this meeting you’ll also get to hear from ITECA’s policy team in Canberra that are in constant contact with the Department and the Minister for Education.  This empowers you to drive reforms to improve ASQA’s regulatory framework.

VET College Recognition — 

Participants in this meeting that whom are endorsed by the ITECA College of Vocational Education and Training Professionals as a Certified Education Manager (CEM) will be entitled to claim one (1) hour professional development towards their annual entitlement.
