Summit Overview —

The National Skills Summit is all about bringing leaders from across the business community and training sectors together to develop a shared understanding of what’s required to achieve excellence in the skills sector.

A series of panel discussions led by industry stakeholders, skills sector opinion leaders and students will consider the strengths of Australia’s skills sector.

.......- Mictrocredential accreditation and funding
.......- Reimagining qualifications development
.......- A student perspective on the course to career journey
.......- Who will pay for the future skills workforce? 

Of interest will be discussions at The National Skills Summit on where improvements can be made to ensure students get the training and skills that employers require. The outcomes from these discussions will help shape the debate and the thinking of policy makers across government and the business plans of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).

- Employers with an interest in a better skills systems
- Senior staff from independent Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and TAFE
- Government officials responsible for skills policy
- Group training organisations

If you're attending the The National Skills Summit from regional New South Wales or interstate, be sure to book your accommodation at the Hilton Sydney as early as possible to ensure that you get a room.

VET College Recognition —

Participants in this meeting that whom are endorsed by the ITECA College of Vocational Education and Training Professionals as a Certified Education Manager (CEM) or CEP Certified Education Professional (CEP) will be entitled to claim six (6) hours professional development towards their annual requirement. 

Non-member Engagement —

If your organisation isn't an ITECA member, be sure to review the membership information and make an application to join.  ITECA membership is all about empowering your team with the information to make informed business decisions and the influence to drive reform.

Covid-19 Framework —

ITECA is committed to the safety of those participating in the event and it will be managed in accordance with the New South Wales Government's Covid-safe protocols.  This also means that, due to health restrictions, it may be necessary to postpone or delay this event with minimal notice.  In the event of rescheduling, all registrations will be automatically transferred to the new date (a request for a refund in this circumstance will incur a $38.50 processing fee).  In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be offered.
