Meeting Overview —
The regulatory framework enforced by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) can be daunting. The great thing is that there is a network of professionals in the independent higher education sector that share your interests and that you can collaborate with.
Meeting Description —
The ITECA TEQSA Regulated Provider Interest Group meets frequently and allows you to together in order to use the shared knowledge that exists across the sector to strengthen your understanding of the TEQSA’s regulatory framework.
ITECA and TEQSA enjoy a strong working relationship, strengthened through a formal agreement, that sees TEQSA staff attend these meetings, giving you direct access to those able answer any questions that you have.

Importantly, you’ll also get to work alongside ITECA’s policy team in Canberra that are in constant contact with the Department and the Minister for Education. This empowers you to drive reforms to improve TEQSA’s regulatory framework.

VET College Recognition —
Participants in this meeting that whom are endorsed by the ITECA College of Vocational Education and Training Professionals
as a Certified Education Manager (CEM) will be entitled to claim one (1) hour professional development towards their annual entitlement.
