ITECA Leadership Briefing – QLD Minister
Meet with the Queensland Minister for Training and Skills Development to discuss the future of 'Skills Assure' funding.
Time & Location —

Monday, 08 November 2021 — 03:45PM AEST << QLD Time Zone

Briefing Overview —

Across Queensland, independent Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) support around 982,395 students in vocational education and training. It’s in this context that the commitment of Minister Farmer to ensuring a contestable market for vocational education and training is important. This is your opportunity to hear directly from the Minister concerning his thoughts on key issues that impact the work of independent RTOs.

…….The issues to be canvassed in this presentation:
…….- Queensland Government skills investment priorities in the year ahead
…….- Their views on the role of independent providers in vocational education and training
…….- What the Queensland Government is hoping for in the new national skills agreement

Independent RTOs in Queensland do the heavy-lifting in supporting the skill of the state’s workforce, supporting around 92% of the people in vocational education and training.  If you have an interest in the Queensland Government’s commitment to supporting students at independent RTO’s through state government funding, this is an event not to be missed.  The ITECA Executive Leadership Briefing series of events is all about empowering you with the information to make informed business decisions.
