The Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) is the peak body representing independent providers in the higher education, vocational education, training and skills sector. The work of ITECA over the past year is set out in the annual report.
This year has placed renewed emphasis on ITECA's role of reinforcing the critical role of independent tertiary education providers in delivering quality outcomes that students and their employers are looking for. As the economic devastation wrought by the Covid-19 pandemic passes, job seekers and school leavers will be better positioned to take-up new jobs thanks to the support and quality of independent providers in the higher education, vocational education, training and skills sectors.
The 2020 ITECA Annual Report sets out the great contribution of members to ensuring that, in these challenging times, ITECA has been able to support its members.
The past year has been one of considerable challenges for the independent tertiary education sector. It's in this context that a growing membership that is more engaged than ever provides confidence in ITECA's ability to support the sector in the year ahead.
ITECA provides leadership, strategy, advocacy and support. Our members set our agenda, fund our activities and directly benefit from the results.
