The Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) is a membership-based peak body bringing together independent providers in the higher education, vocational education and training sectors. From time to time employment opportunities arise that allow professionals to get in and make a different to the environment in which independent tertiary education is offered in Australia.
ITECA is currently establishing a new office in Canberra and is seeking a number of individuals to take-up key roles.
Director – Communications
As an experienced communications professional you’ll play a lead role in shaping the public debate about the role of independent tertiary education in Australia. The messages you’ll be crafting will be directed at government, the media and education stakeholders. [More Info]
Director – Member Engagement
You’ll lead the team that will spearhead the development and implementation of new sales and business development strategies that will add value to existing members and attract new ones to join ITECA. [More Info]
Director – Policy & Research
With high-level access to decision-makers across parliament and government, this role will allow to use the views of members to achieve lasting policy reforms that improve opportunities for independent tertiary providers. [More Info]
Manager – Policy
Reporting to the Director – Policy & Research this role has a strong focus on working with members and external stakeholders to ensure that state governments create an environment in which quality providers can offer students quality outcomes. [More Info]
Communications Officer (Graduate)
This role sees you creating engaging print and online content that informs providers and keeps stakeholders up to date about what ITECA is doing to support the sector. [More Info]
