Summary

Independent Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) interested in the development and delivery of digital skills are helping shape the reform agenda as they meet with the Digital Skills Organisation (DSO).

Key Issues —

The Australian Government is exploring ways to deepen industry engagement and improve the VET system for all Australians. The DSO is one of three industry-led pilots that have been established to strengthen and enhance the role of industry and employers in the system.

The DSO works to ensure Australia has a highly skilled, resilient and adaptable workforce that is responsive to the needs of employers and industry. It is in this context that the DSO is collaborating with members of the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) on the issues set out below.

How to put in place an approach which meets national and federated governance arrangements?

The upcoming meeting of the ITECA ICT Skills Interest Group allows members to meet with the DSO’s senior staff to discuss these issues. Don’t miss this important event.
