Summary —

The Australian Training Awards will showcase Australia’s national training system and celebrate the exceptional talent in vocational education and training sector. The great news is that independent Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are included in the finalists.

Key Issues —

The Australian Training Awards recognise outstanding achievement in three broad categories: individuals including students, apprentices, trainees and teachers; employers who train their workforce; and registered training organisations.

The awards also recognise outstanding leadership and contribution to the VET sector through the Lifetime Achievement Award and National Achievement Award.

The finalists include four ITECA member organisations as set out below.

Selection as a finalist in this prestigious award program is a great honour and is a tribute to the commitment to quality demonstrate by the four ITECA members that are finalists.

Australian VET Alumni. Alumni members share their story of success and inspire others to consider VET training on their career pathway.

Independent RTOs support more than 80% of the 4.2 million students in vocational education and training.

ITECA’s ability to play a lead role in matters associated with promoting the reputation of independent RTOs for quality rests on the advice and guidance of individuals serving on the ITECA Vocational Education & Training Reference Group.  ITECA Membership – It's a great time to get involved.
