Summary —

Skills Canberra is seeking feedback from ITECA members regarding the current skills needs of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Please complete the survey by 11:59PM,  Wednesday 22 April 2020 to participate.

Key Issues —

A new Draft Skilled Capital Qualification and Skill Set List for release in mid-2020 has been published which is designed to tackle workforce demand and supply issues as a result of Covid-19. ITECA members have been urged to have their say via an online survey which closes at 11:59PM, 22 April 2020.

Skills Canberra —

ITECA members input will help shape the list for publication and ensure that the workforce is equipped with the critical skills required to get through the Covid-19 pandemic and return the economy as quickly as possible to normal operation.

Member Engagement —

ITECA’s ability to play a lead role in matters associated with this issue rests on the advice and guidance of individuals serving on the ITECA Australian Capital Territory Committee.
