The Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA), in consultation with the Department for Education in South Australia, has arranged an information webinar for independent providers to introduce some of the changes to VET In Schools delivery that are proposed policy for South Australia and where some new opportunities might be for your Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Key Issues —
ITECA South Australia has been working with the South Australian Government to expand opportunities and make it simpler for quality independent providers to deliver VET in Schools across the state. Arranged by ITECA for all VET in School RTOs, the South Australian Government Department of Education is presenting a webinar on ‘Implementation of the VET for School Students Policy in Government Schools’.
Relevant and accessible to RTOs delivering, or considering delivering in South Australia, this webinar will explore the reform to delivering VET in government schools, introduce some of the changes the full policy implementation will have on VET for school students delivery, and how independent VET providers can get involved as funded providers, similar to other State/Territory funded provider arrangements.
The webinar will set out the South Australian Government’s framework for system-wide reform that will drive transition to skilled careers and better meet the needs of industry, underpinning strong economic growth. Details of the webinar are as follows:
