ITECA Victoria – Funded provider interest group

The Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) provides the opportunity for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) across Victoria to meet and discuss the State Government's funding of vocational education and training courses.

As a member of ITECA Victoria, your organisation is empowered to understand and influence the 'Skills First' funding program.

Member Engagement ―
ITECA Victorian Funded Provider Group Activities

◾ Quarterly updates on 'Skills First' program delivery and performance.
◾ A briefing on 'JobTrainer' program delivery in the state.
◾ Advance notice of proposed changes to the 'Jobs and Skills' program.
◾ Discuss funding allocation in this and future years.
◾ Meet with colleagues that share your interest to delivering quality programs.

If your RTO supports students through accessing Victoria Government funding, participating in this group will keep keep you up to date with changes to funding programs and the associated compliance and reporting obligations.

Importantly, the discussions amongst the ITECA Victoria membership provide invaluable feedback to the State Government's Department of Education and Training ensuring that decisions concerning program design and delivery have been made with an understanding of your views and that of others who share your commitment to quality.

The great thing is participation in the ITECA Victorian Funded Provider Interest Group comes at no additional cost, it’s all part of your organisation’s ITECA membership.
