Higher Education – Policy committees

Members of the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) work collaboratively to shape the advice and guidance that we provide government to improve the regulatory and funding environment for independent higher education providers.

In the higher education there are two committees where you can get involved and make a difference, these being.:

Member Committee ―
ITECA Higher Education References Committee

As a member of this committee you'll get to provide support the formulation of ITECA's policy on matters ranging from higher education regulatory standards, funding and student loan programs.

Member Committee ―
ITECA International Education References Committee

If you're interested in influencing the work of the Department of Home Affairs in determining the student visa framework and the return of international students in the context of the Covid-19 virus outbreak, this is the committee to get involved in.

As you work with these committees your input will be used by the ITECA policy team in Canberra to shape the advice we give to Ministers, parliamentary committees and Departments.

ITECA provides leadership, strategy, advocacy and support. Our members set our agenda, fund our activities and directly benefit from the results.
