This executive briefing will provide members of Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) with an update on the establishment and early progress of the Australian Tertiary Education Commission (ATEC).

The session will feature insights from David Turvey, Executive Director, ATEC, who will outline the Commission’s emerging work plan, strategic priorities, and early areas of focus.

Discussion will explore the Commission’s approach to supporting a connected, whole-of-tertiary education system that includes non-university providers, as well as the anticipated role of ATEC in shaping policy settings affecting international education.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in discussion and ask questions.
