Introduction - ITECA International Education Network

Australian International Education - Stronger Together

Skills training and higher education providers that support international students face unique challenges that require a strong and united voice to overcome. These challenges include managing the enduring impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, adapting to changing student visa regulations, and continuing to deliver high-quality education to international students from diverse backgrounds.

The Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) is a growing community of informed and united international education providers that work together to address these challenges head-on. ITECA has established strong relationships with senior departmental staff and is recognised by politicians as an authentic voice of the sector. For colleges listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), membership provides confidence that their concerns and priorities will be heard and considered by decision-makers.

Through the active involvement of its members, ITECA presents a strong, collective voice for the sector. The organisation leverages its reputation for evidence-driven policy advocacy, ensuring that any recommendations made to government are supported by the best available data and research.
