This meeting is convened for senior executives from independent RTOs wanting to develop a better understanding of government skills funding in Australia.
The ITECA Understanding Skills Funding Information Session offers senior executives from Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) the ability to understand how governments provide funding that supports students to study vocational education and training courses.
This is one of the many events convened by ITECA to empower members with the information to make sound business decisions.

This roundtable meeting will introduce how each state and territory government provides funding for students to study with independent Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
:: The key government departments responsible for funding.
:: The processes used by governments to determine which courses are funded.
:: The number of students that access government funding by provider type.
:: The key performance indicators on the performance of government funded students.
:: The government’s investment in skills funding in dollar terms.
:: An overview of current policy changes to skills funding at a national, state, and territory level..
The briefing will also outline the opportunities where an RTO without a state or territory funding agreement may be able to secure one; however, please note that opportunities here are generally limited.
