The regulatory compliance arrangements are being turned upside down as the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) moves to a self assurance model. ASQA self-assurance is when RTOs have their own systems and practices to systematically monitor, evaluate and continually improve their training outcomes and performance against the regulatory standards. he great thing is that your institution doesn’t need to face this change alone, there is a network of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that collaborate to understand what this transition means. Convened by the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA), the ITECA Self Assurance Community of Practice allows you to work with others to ensure your RTO is ready for this change.
