Not every Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is eligible for membership of the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA), which is why the membership is recognised as defining vocational education and training quality.

Application Process —
For Training Providers With A Demonstrated Commitment To Quality

◾ ASQA, VRWA or TAC Registered providerswith a record of regulatory compliance. |
| |
|
◾ ASIC Record verification to reflect sound corporate governance. |
| |
|
◾ Company meets the ITECA financial sustainability test. |
| |
|
◾ Directors and managers meet the ITECA fit and proper person criteria |
| |
|
◾ In operation for at least two years |
| |
|
◾ Endorsement by at least one full ITECA Corporate member.
