It provides a save environment for share ideas and hear from leaders from across the business community and government about what it takes to overcome challenges. Professional Profile —
Elected to the Queensland Legislative Assembly in 2012, Saxon went on to become Assistant Minister for Technical and Further Education and was also Chair of the (then) Ministerial Industry Commission responsible for industry engagement. Leaving parliament in 2015, she went on to serve on the Administrative Appeals Tribunal from 2016 to 2018.
Saxon commenced as a Commissioner of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) on 16 April 2018, before being appointed as ASQA Chief Commissioner (initially Acting) on 7 October 2019. With effect from 1 January 2021, Ms Rice was appointed ASQA Chief Executive Officer for a period of five years.
She has a Master of International Law from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University.

The community can share their challenges and the strategies used overcome these challenges. The aim is to build a collaborate and and support each other in achieving their goals. |

The conversations include the workshops and training programs that are available and the importance of taking on leadership roles within the tertiary education sector and the broader business community.
