Across the skills training and higher education sectors, women are playing an active leadership role in shaping conversations about the sector's future, strategies that best support students, and the way to best engage stakeholders.  The Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) is proud to support the development of this engaged community of leaders.

The ITECA Women In Tertiary Education community seeks to create a safe environment that empowers current and emerging leaders across institutions of all sizes.

Participation is open to women employed by ITECA members that share a commitment to creating a welcoming environment in which their colleagues can feel valued and respected.

The ITECA Women In Tertiary Education community offers a collaborative forum for women to come together to learn from each other, support each other, and empower each other in their careers. It provides a safe environment for share ideas and hear from leaders from across industry and government about what it takes to overcome challenges.

Participation is open to women committed to creating a welcoming environment in which their colleagues can feel valued and respected.

With the great support of leaders across the business community and government, the ITECA Women In Tertiary Education forum holds a number of online and face-to-face gatherings.  They offer insights into leadership, personal resilience, overcoming barriers and how to foster the career development of emerging leaders.
