Meeting Overview —

This meeting follows the initial Jobs & Skills Summit - Policy Position Briefing to be held on 29 August 2022, so if you're interested in hearing about the issues that ITECA will be presenting at the Summit, be sure to register for that event.

Over 1-2 September 2022, the Australian Government is convening its Jobs and Skills Summit at Parliament House in Canberra. Bringing together the business community, employers and a select group of stakeholders from the tertiary education sector, the summit will look at how the nation can improve workforce productivity in order to address the growing skills shortage and improve real wages.

The Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) will be represented at the summit and this is an exclusive member-only briefing that will provide an update on the key issues discussed at the Summit and what it means for independent Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and higher education providers.
