Founded in 1992, the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) is the peak body representing independent tertiary education providers.  It is the oldest and largest stakeholder in the independent tertiary education sector.  Consistent with its structure as a membership-based organisation, ITECA Higher Education provides a dedicated focus to the unique needs of independent higher education institutions.

Members of ITECA Higher Education benefit from the considerable resources, talent and linkages that ITECA has.  This provides the a a strong foundation for growth and credibility which has driven the growth of ITECA Higher Education and its credibility across government, industry stakeholders, and the broader community.
