In 2025, the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) will be hosting three exclusive, high-impact forums at Parliament House, Canberra. Each event is designed to empower members with direct access to national policymakers and ensure the voice of independent tertiary education is front and centre in shaping Australia's policy agenda.



ITECA Tertiary Education Parliamentary Forum
Influencing Policy. Driving Reform

An exclusive event empowering leaders from the independent skills training and higher education sector with deeper engagement, supporting the decision-makers and policy leaders who are shaping Australia’s national tertiary education policy agenda.

ITECA Small Business in Tertiary Education Meets Parliament
Independent. Entrepreneurial. Essential

This forum is designed specifically for Small Business Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and independent higher education providers. It facilitates direct engagement with representatives from Government, as well other parliamentarians, offering unique insight into alternative policy directions across the education landscape.

ITECA Independent International Education Meets Parliament 
A Global Sector with a National Voice

Australia’s independent tertiary education providers support over half of all international student enrolments. This forum gives members a voice in the national policy discussion and a platform to help shape the future of Australia’s international education strategy.

The Independent Tertiary Education Parliamentary Forum is without parallel in the independent tertiary education sector, it's the sector's premier policy advocacy event that's much anticipated each time it is held.

Those attending include senior executives from representatives from ITECA Higher Education members who will be joined by senior executive from the skills training and international education sectors. Attendance is by invitation only and includes members of ITECA's national, state and territory policy committees.
